We offer the following tests & treatments for the prevention and diagnosis of gynaecological cancers and strongly recommend women who have a family history of cancer to have a regular check-up.

Patients are strongly reccomended to see their doctor if they have any of the following :

  • Irregular vaginal bleeding
  • Vaginal discharge with an unpleasant odour
  • Vaginal discharge tinged with blood
  • Pelvic or back pain,pain during sex
  • Problems urinating / defecating
  • Lumps or hardness in the breasts


  • PAP SMEAR Test for abnormal cells leading to cervical cancer.
  • Human Papilloma virus (HPV) test for cervical cancer
  • HPV vaccination for unmarrried women.
  • Breast Examination
  • SONOMAMMOGRAPHY – or breast ultrasound is done for women when breast lump (mass) felt in the breast.
  • FNAC
  • COLPOSCOPY : A colposcopy uses a microscope to visualise the cervix to find out whether there are abnormal cells on or in a woman's cervix or vagina. The cervix is the part of the womb that sits in the vagina. In some women, the presence of "abnormal cells" carries the risk of developing cervical cancer. A colposcopy is used to determine whether treatment will be needed to deal with these cells.
